Momentum in Motion: Curved Seams, Creative Confidence, and Two Quilts Finished

Learn curved seams made simple, explore repurposed denim fashion, and celebrate two new Culture of Threads quilts completed in Q2.

June is a momentum month.

It’s where technique gets smoother, confidence gets louder, and the Culture of Threads series moves forward in a very real way. This month, I finished two more quilts, marking the close of Q2—and every stitch mattered.

Design: Curved Seams Made Simple

Curved seams intimidate many quilters, especially when denim is involved. In class, I break curves down into manageable steps—slow stitching, strategic pinning, and letting the fabric guide you instead of fighting it.

Curves soften structure. They invite movement. And yes—you can absolutely master them.

Creates: Styling Repurposed Denim

This month’s fashion focus centered on building an outfit around repurposed denim. Denim doesn’t need to shout; it needs intention. When styled thoughtfully, reclaimed materials hold just as much presence as new fabric—sometimes more.

Lecturer: My Signature Message — Creative Confidence

No matter the audience, my message stays consistent: creative confidence changes how people show up. When hands are engaged, fear loosens its grip. Making becomes permission.

That’s what I bring into every room.

Culture of Threads: Q2 Complete

Two more quilts are finished. The series is gaining weight, scale, and clarity. Culture of Threads is no longer just a vision—it’s becoming a fully realized body of work.
