My name is Sandra Lee Chandler, founder of Sandra Lee Design, a fiber artist and educator with more than 40 years of experience. I create large-scale contemporary art quilts, hand-stitched from repurposed denim and reclaimed fabric, rooted in African American history and family legacy. And it doesn't stop at quilts; I design high fashion from that same cloth. To me, it all comes from one source.
Where a teaching artist meets fashion, quilting, and cultural storytelling.
